Saturday, September 4th, the Crusaders will be taking on the Mt. View Mustangs. The game will be at 1:00 p.m. in Knox. Below are directions to the field:
Head south on I-95 towards Augusta Take exit 174, toward Winterport/Newburgh (ME-69) Turn left onto ME-69/Hampden Road. Continue to follow ME-69 (1.8 miles) Turn right onto Western Avenue/US-202/ME-9. Continue to follow US-202/ME-9 (20.3 miles) Turn left onto Thorndike Road/ME-220. Continue to follow ME-220 (7.4 miles) Turn left onto Belfast Road/ME-137 (1.5 miles) Turn left onto Abbott Road
The field does not have a lot of bleacher seats, so you may want to bring a chair.
All players should wear a white shirt, purple tie and khaki pants to school on Friday. Freshman players will be given their tie by Thursday of this week. Crusader Pride Night is this Friday, September 3rd, at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. We are expecting over 100 people to be in attendance, so we are asking parents/families to provide an entree or salad. All food should be delivered to the auditorium by 5:30 p.m. Thank you for your help.

The next FOJBF Boosters meeting will be on Tuesday, August 31, at 6 p.m. This is a very important meeting because we will be finalizing the details for Crusader Pride Night. I hope you all can make it.
The team dinner will be at 7 p.m. on Friday night. Boosters will be bringing the weenie wagon to the practice field and the team will be eating dinner there. Boosters is providing the meal and drinks, but we need desserts! If you can provide a dessert, please contact Laurie Ashman. Our boys and their stomachs will thank you!

The boys will be playing a scrimmage against Old Town on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Old Town high school is located at 203 Stillwater Avenue in Old Town. Come cheer them on to Victory...Go Crusaders!
Friday, September 3rd, is the deadline for submitting a "Best Wish" to your player in the annual football booklet. Forms will be available at Crusader Pride night or you can download form from this site.
